Indonesia Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (InachamHK) Delegation Joins Hunan Economic and Trade Exchange Visit to Deepen Hong Kong–Mainland Cooperation
On June 23, 2026, a delegation of over 30 people from foreign consulates and business circles in Hong Kong, led by Li Yongsheng, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, visited Shaoshan and Xiangtan in Hunan Province.
As one of the key participants, the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (InachamHK) was represented by three directors — Ms. Linda Lau, Mr. Tony Ho, and Mr. Tony Tam — who joined the visit alongside representatives from various countries and regions. They attended economic and trade exchange activities to explore deeper cooperation between Hong Kong and Hunan across multiple sectors.
In the morning, the delegation presented a floral basket at the bronze statue of Mao Zedong and toured his former residence and memorial hall. InachamHK delegation members engaged in in-depth exchanges with other participants, learning about Hunan’s developments in cultural tourism and regional growth. Hong Kong’s Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Chen Baili, also highlighted the broad cooperation opportunities between Hong Kong and Hunan in cultural tourism.
In the afternoon, the delegation held an economic and trade exchange symposium with the Xiangtan municipal government, engaging in detailed discussions on foreign trade cooperation, industrial alignment, and the investment environment. InachamHK representatives actively spoke during the symposium, expressing strong support for synergistic economic and trade development between the Mainland and Hong Kong, and offering constructive suggestions for future collaboration.
Luo Gang, Deputy Director of the Xiangtan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced the city’s opening-up policies and industrial development, expressing hope that more local enterprises would utilize Hong Kong’s platform to expand into international markets. Deputy Commissioner Li Yongsheng pointed out that this visit has built a communication bridge for future cooperation. Tan Jianzhong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Canadian Chamber of Commerce, also expressed willingness to pursue cooperation in areas such as technology, batteries, and electric vehicles.
The Indonesia Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong has long been committed to promoting economic and trade exchanges between Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Chinese Mainland. This participation in the Hunan visit fully demonstrates the Chamber’s active role as a “super connector” and its ongoing commitment to creating cross-border cooperation opportunities for its members.

香港印尼商會（InachamHK）代表團參與湖南經貿交流訪問 深化香港與內地合作
2026年6月23日，由外交部駐香港特別行政區特派員公署副特派員李永勝率領的外国駐港領團和商界代表團一行30余人到訪湖南韶山及湘潭。香港印尼商會（InachamHK）作為重要代表之一，由三位董事——劉女士、何先生及譚先生——參與此次訪問，與來自多個國家和地區的駐港領團及商界代表共同出席經貿交流活動，探討深化香港與湖南在多領域的合作。
當日上午，代表團向毛澤東銅像敬獻花籃，並參觀了毛澤東故居及紀念館。InachamHK代表團成員與同行代表深入交流，了解湖南在文化旅遊及區域發展方面的最新成果。香港商務及經濟發展局副局長陳百里亦表示，香港與湖南在文化旅遊方面擁有廣闊的合作機遇。
下午，代表團與湘潭市政府舉行經貿交流座談會，圍繞外貿合作、產業對接及投資環境等議題進行深入探討。InachamHK代表在座談中積極發言，表達了對內地與香港經貿協同發展的支持，並就未來合作方向提出了建設性意見。
湘潭市商務局副局長羅罡介紹了該市對外開放及產業發展情況，並表示希望更多湘潭企業借助香港平台拓展國際市場。李永勝副特派員指出，此次參訪為未來合作搭建了溝通橋樑。香港加拿大商會主席譚建中亦表達了在科技、電池及電動車等領域尋求合作的意願。
香港印尼商會一直致力推動印尼與香港及內地之間的經貿往來。此次參與湖南訪問，充分體現了商會積極發揮「超級聯繫人」角色，持續為會員拓展跨境合作機遇的承諾。

Meeting Between Guangdong Department of Commerce and INACHAMHK Chairman – 8 May 2026
On 8 May 2026, Ms. Lynn Tsai, Director of the Hong Kong Office of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, visited the Chairman of INACHAMHK for an exchange on Guangdong-Hong Kong economic cooperation.
Discussions covered Guangdong’s GDP (1/10 of China’s total, ranked first for 36 years), foreign trade (1/5 of China’s total, ranked first for 38 years), its eight trillion-yuan industries (electronics, chemicals, automobiles, new materials, agricultural processing, home appliances), and biomanufacturing as the ninth trillion-yuan industry in the making. Hong Kong’s legal and tax advantages, its role as a bridge for foreign investment, and the “Hong Kong-Macao Drug & Device Connected” policy for Greater Bay Area hospitals were also addressed.
Collaboration on retail distribution with China Resources Vanguard was discussed. On Indonesia-related cooperation, INACHAMHK has 60+ members including Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Bank Mandiri. The Chairman has property investments in Henan and Hainan and is also familiar with Indonesia. Guangdong’s department head visited Indonesia last year, and the Governor may visit Indonesia and Singapore this year. The Hong Kong government also sponsors trade missions to Indonesia.
The Chairman outlined INACHAMHK’s three core functions: arranging matchmaking, providing hands-off minority participation, and solving member problems. Members should raise challenges proactively. The chamber was established in 2017, with leadership including an executive director rotating among principal members.
Both parties agreed to stay in close contact. The Chairman offered to provide ongoing support for Guangdong’s initiatives and for members with Indonesia-related interests. Ms. Tsai encouraged the Chairman to attend the May 19 leadership symposium.
Jakarta Business Delegation – 8 May 2026
InachamHK was invited to assist a business delegation organized by the Guangdong Time-honored Brands Association for their participation in the IIFB & MoreFood Expo.
Director Sunarsih Krisfilia, on behalf of InachamHK, attended the meeting. She provided guidance and consultation on local business practices, market entry strategies, and cross-border trade opportunities in the food and catering industry.
Courtesy Visit & Discussion Session with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) – April 2026
On 16 April 2026, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), one of Indonesia’s largest banks, hosted a courtesy visit and discussion session at Aqua (TST) in Hong Kong. INACHAMHK directors and members had the pleasure of attending.
Attending from BRI were the Corporate Banking Director and the Group Head of Transaction Banking.
The session explored investment opportunities in Indonesia, how BRI can support business expansion, and banking and financial solutions for foreign investors.
The China-Indonesia Investment Promotion and Legal Cooperation Exchange (March 2026)
The China-Indonesia Investment Promotion and Legal Cooperation Exchange brought together leading experts from Indonesia and China to explore new opportunities for Chinese enterprises expanding into Southeast Asia, with a focus on policy alignment, legal frameworks, and industrial linkages.
Dr. Benson Chang, Director of INACHAMHK, joined as a distinguished speaker, contributing valuable insights on cross-border investment cooperation and the role of legal certainty in facilitating sustainable business partnerships between China and Indonesia.
The forum was organized by the Nanyang Center for International Legal Governance (南洋涉外法治研究中心) and featured a distinguished delegation from the University of Indonesia, including the Rector, Vice Rector, and deans from various faculties. Chinese academics, industry representatives, and legal professionals also participated in the discussions.
2026 Joint CNY Gala Dinner (Mar 2026)
香港印尼商會與香港菲律賓商會於2026年3月26日首次攜手舉辦新春團拜，活動假本港著名紀華利木球會隆重舉行。適逢中國—東盟建立對話關係35週年，是次盛會雲集多位駐港領事及各國商會領袖，包括菲律賓駐港總領事、越南駐港總領事、日本駐港副領事、津巴布韋駐港商務領事、印尼駐港副領事、日本駐港副領事、文萊駐港總領事、阿拉伯商會會長以及新加坡商會會長等近十位政商及學界領袖。
當中還包括駐港外交部代表、廣東省商務部代表、前海投資辨代表，以及香港一带一路専員辦事處代表等。各嘉賓於致辭中表示，期望藉此活動加強國際友好交流，深化各地經濟與文化合作，共同為區域繁榮發展作出貢獻。
籌委會主席何震東先生致辭時指出，是次新春團拜不僅是慶祝農曆新年的喜慶聚會，更是促進國際商務合作與文化交融的重要平台。他強調，香港作為「一帶一路」的重要節點，肩負推動區域經濟發展的使命。商會希望透過活動讓各國企業代表建立更緊密聯繫，推動跨國合作項目，實現互利共贏，造福各國人民與社會。
